After being taunted by fans for almost 2 hours, Johnny Manziel threw a water bottle at a fan. The reaction of most people has been different. While some blame Manziel for reacting, some people think it’s the fans fault. Including Browns Cornerback Joe Haden.
Haden made his opinion clear to Cleveland.com.
“I mean, they were heckling him for two hours,” cornerback Joe Haden recently said, via Cleveland.com. “I mean, can somebody please get the kid away from him? It gets annoying. It gets to the point where people are just out to say stuff just to get a reaction out of people, and I think we’ve got to look at it that way too. Who’s heckling to get an autograph for two hours? Once you say no, it should be, ‘That’s it.’”
Haden wants his teammate to get some help around him, like he has for himself.
“I ride around with my security, and I would’ve been with my boys. They might’ve got him out the way. . . . With Johnny, just try to make sure you have people handle that stuff for you because people are bothering him for two hours trying to get an autograph. That’s a little crazy.”
