A year away from the NFL has done wonders for Adrian Peterson according to his head coach. Mike Zimmer told Pro Football Talk that Peterson is “looking like a Hall of Famer” during practice.
He’s in fantastic shape. His body is rock hard. He’s really into all the football stuff, he’s got a smile on his face, he seems to be extremely happy and excited to be here. Every day you see a couple cuts that look like a Hall of Fame running back, so those are good sights to see,” Zimmer said.
Teddy Bridgewater’s development, along with the presence of Mike Wallace, should soften up some of those eight and nine man fronts Peterson is expected to face.
