The already struggling Atlanta Falcons running game took a hit on Sunday after rookie running back Tevin Coleman went out of the game after injuring himself on a tackle by Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.
The prognosis of the injury is a rib injury and depending on the pain and how it heals, the Falcons are expecting Coleman back within 4 weeks.
Coleman injured himself in preseason as well but has started for the Falcons in their last two games and had gained 120 yards on the ground and scored his first TD on Sunday against the Giants.
Hopefully Coleman gets healthy fast so the Falcons can continue their winning ways under new head coach Dan Quinn.
Updated: Falcons RB Tevin Coleman fractured a rib and is expected to miss a couple of weeks, depending on his pain threshold, per sources.
