If you follow recruiting even a little bit, Terrance Ferguson’s decision should come as no surprise to you. For a while now, it was common knowledge that Arizona was the clear favorite to land the five-star shooting guard.
Now, it’s official.

After this commitment, head coach Sean Miller has a monster freshmen class rolling into Tuscon. Lauri Markkanen, Rawle Alkins, Kobi Simmons and Ferguson are all five-stars.
As you can see, Arizona would’ve been just fine without Ferguson, but with him intact, what type of player are the Wildcats getting?
Well, they’re getting a 6-foot-7 sharp shooter.
To go along with his elite shooting ability, Ferguson is a freak athlete. He’ll be such a tough cover because you have to respect his stroke, which should open up driving opportunities for him.
Also, Ferguson has a chance to become a lock-down perimeter defender with his physical traits.
Today is a great day to be a Wildcat.
