It isn’t a secret most athletes smoke weed.
In the NFL the key is to stay out of the drug program because if you do you are only tested once a year and you know when the test is coming.
Ex-NFL OL Eben Britton who played four years in the league says he played high all the time.
“NFL games I played stoned were some of the best games I ever played. Cannabis cements your surroundings,” Britton told the New York Post. “A lot of people say they’re useless when they smoke weed. But hell, I played NFL games [while stoned], dude. My performances were solid and I felt really good after.”
He goes on to say about 50-75% of NFL players smoke week, which is a good ballpark figure. The NFL tests more for random supplements than weed, but for some reason they suspensions are the same.
