With just over two weeks remaining before their highly anticipated rematch in Manchester England, Dan Henderson and Michael Bisping took turns holding court for the LA media before making the long ride across the pond to headline UFC 204. With seven years between the first meeting and rematch, when the two finally face off, it will be like meeting for the first time and full of fireworks.
Henderson remained indignant that he’s walking away from fighting whether he wins or loses (or gets a payday that ‘makes him smile’) and the always lively Bisping promised to avenge his previous knockout loss. Full of energy and sporting a rather distressed looking eye, Bisping not only guaranteed the win but asserted he’s down to fight at UFC 205 in November.
Once the roundtable interviews were complete, the headliners headed into the Octagon for a brief workout and sign autographs for the excited fans on hand. Henderson put his hands to work with some light pad and sparring work while Bisping went all out much to the fans delight.
