Week 5 of the College Football season was full of top games — and fans should expect to see many more great matchups in the ensuing Week 6. After last weekend’s slate, the National Championship picture is a little more clear, although there’s still plenty more action to behold before that picture becomes crystal clear. In any event, let’s take a look at some of the top contests set to take place in Week 6, in terms of get-in ticket price.
10/8 Florida State at Miami I Hard Rock Stadium I Get-In Ticket Price: $191
The Florida State-Miami dynamic has formed into one of the best college football rivalries. Each year, one, if not both teams, are highly ranked in the polls. This year, Florida State has failed to live up to expectations, but a game against Miami may be what they need to turn their season around. All-time, Miami leads the series 31-29, but Florida State has won six straight games over the Hurricanes. Due to the high-profile nature of the teams involved, it’s no surprise to see that Florida State vs. Miami Hurricanes tickets start at $191 on Razorgator.
10/8 Texas at Oklahoma I Cotton Bowl I Get-In Ticket Price: $190
The 2016 edition of the Red River Shootout will be played on Saturday, October 8. These two teams engage in one of the best rivalries in college football — and it’s a game that Texas has historically dominated. Texas is 61-44-5 all-time against Oklahoma, including winning two of the last three meetings. Considering all the history involved between these two programs, it’s academic to expect high ticket prices for this encounter, and that’s exactly the case, the cheapest ticket to see Oklahoma and Texas go at it is coming in at $190. Fortunately, fans driving to the game can find cheap parking options for Cotton Bowl parking on ParkWhiz.com to save some money.
10/8 Tennessee at Texas A&M I Kyle Field I Get-In Ticket Price: $158
An SEC battle between two of the top teams in conference will commence on Saturday at Kyle Field. Despite being ranked top teams in the SEC, these two schools haven’t played since 2005, and thus, a new rivalry may be formed on Saturday afternoon. After an emotional win at Georgia, No. 11 Tennessee must go on the road again, into another hostile environment. No. 9 Texas A&M has answered all questions up to this point, but its next two games, versus Tennessee and at Alabama, will ultimately determine the outcome of their season. On Razorgator, Tennessee vs. Texas A&M tickets start at $158.
10/8 Washington at Oregon I Autzen Stadium I Get-In Ticket Price: $120
Fresh off of their 44-6 drubbing of Stanford, Washington will go on the road and face Oregon. This is a prime letdown spot for the Huskies, but the Ducks have won 12 straight games, so this fact may motivate the Huskies. Oregon is a team that is clearly in transition, but teams can play up or play down depending on the opponent. With tickets beginning at $120, this could be one of the better bargains on the secondary market of Week 6.
10/8 Alabama at Arkansas I Razorback Stadium I Get-In Ticket Price: $100
No. 1 Alabama will travel west for an SEC West battle against No. 20 Arkansas, seeking to continue their reign over college football. Alabama has dominated all opponents thus far, while Arkansas enters the game at 4-1, so they may have a shot here to pull off the upset, especially being in front of the home fans. Alabama has won eight straight games against the Razorgator, however, giving the Tide a lot of confidence going into this affair. The get-in ticket price for this game is $100, which is pretty solid value considering it has the country’s top-ranked team.
