Twitter has hit some hard times financially and was close to being sold to Disney, but that fell through at the last-minute. Since Twitter couldn’t find a buyer layoffs were expected, but in an unexpected move, they also decided to shut down the Vine mobile app.
The news rocked the social media world as people wondered what was going to happen to their six second creations.
