You’re never too young or old to create a fake social media page. The latest culprit is Roger Goodell’s wife, Jane Skinner according to the Wall Street Journal. The Twitter account uses the handle @forargument under the name Jones Smith.
Everything was all quiet, but since Twitter has been giving Goodell hell for his tenure thus far as commissioner and some recent questionable decisions, the account came back to life. Unfortunately for Skinner, there are Twitter experts at the WSJ that uncovered that she was the owner of the account.
“It was a REALLY silly thing to do and done out of frustration—and love.” Mrs. Goodell said Thursday afternoon in a written statement. “As a former media member, I’m always bothered when the coverage doesn’t provide a complete and accurate picture of a story. I’m also a wife and a mom. I have always passionately defended the hard-working guy I love—and I always will. I just may not use Twitter to do so in the future!”
The account is completely removed from Twitter, but flip to the page to see how Skinner was defending her man.
