The Golden State Warriors are looking to add new talent to their already talented roster in NBA journeyman Jamal Crawford, who recently declined his player option to return to the Minnesota Timberwolves for the upcoming season.
According to reports, the pursuit is headlined by Draymond Green and Kevin Durant.
This recruit shouldn’t come as a surprise to many considering Green admittedly called Durant after losing the 2016 NBA Finals to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Crawford, 37 years of age, averaged 10.3 points playing 80 games for the Timberwolves last season, and shot 33.1% from the three-point line.
The Warriors will be able to offer him a salary starting at $5.3 million.
