Phil Davis bounced back from a loss earlier in the year to dominate Glover Teixeira at UFC 179 on Saturday but he didn’t leave the fight unscathed. Phil is on the list of fighters that will have to serve a medical suspension due to injuries suffered at UFC 179.
Phil will undergo an MRI when he gets back to the country to further assess the damage in his hand. Phil called out former UFC 185lb champion Anderson Silva after his fight but an injury of this type would surely mean he’d be sidelined until at least the summer.
