John Cena the person, seems like a very nice guy and you don’t do 500 Make-a-Wish requests if you don’t care about the kids.
That is a beautiful thing and something he should be forever commended for.

John Cena the WWE character though has run its course and he needs to embrace the fact even if he isn’t technically a heel, in the eyes of most fans he already is.
Heel is wrestling jargon is the bad guy, but over the years the meaning of a wrestling heel has changed.
Almost every superstar in the WWE who has gotten extremely over since the attitude started off their momentum as a heel.
Stone Cold, The Rock, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton from way back in the day.
In present times, Daniel Bryan, Bray Wyatt, Kevin Owens, New Day and etc, were or are heels that are massively popular characters.
Even the great John Cena started off as a rapping heel, that got over and only then did he because the face of the franchise. Cena acts like a heel, talks like a heel and even wrestles like a heel. He does everything a heel would do.
When Seth Rollins tried to give a heel promo about breaking Cena’s nose people CLAPPED for Rollins. Cena may never go heel, but if he ever does it will be the biggest turn since Hogan at Bash at the Beach.
I hope I get to see it before Cena is 60.
