The gift and the curse of social media.
When dealing in free agency, I would assume the goal of all players is to get as much money as they can, while signing with a team that they feel comfortable with.
Sometimes you can’t get both things. It appears Clark’s negotiations with the Redskins came down to money and he let that slip out of the bag on Twitter that is why he wasn’t signed, so he apologized for that.
Want to apologize to the skins for an unprofessional tweet I made regarding our negotiations. Shouldn't have aired dirty laundry. Moving on

Several reports came out today that Clark’s asking price was too high for what the Redskins were willing to pay. No one knows exactly what Clark is asking for, which is something he made clear on Twitter.
Love how people tweet my price is too high w/o knowing my price.

There is still interest in Clark in the free agent market, but also a television career is in his future as well, it will be up to him which way he decides to go.
