Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz has made it known he wants to remain in New York, and has even aligned himself with Jay Z to make that happen.
He’s still in a contract squabble though, so that doesn’t mean everything is all good. Giants players had hope that Cruz would show a sign of good faith and show up for the beginning of voluntary off-season workouts.
According to Ian Rapoport that did not happen, and Cruz indeed was a no-show on the first day of workouts.
Victor Cruz has not shown up for voluntary offseason conditioning with #Giants, I’m told. Not a surprise. Hasn’t signed RFA tender either

Cruz has yet to sign his $2.89 million offer sheet, so he’s not going to risk injury, he’s also not pressed to go to another team either.
Cruz has been working though, as we was a participant in the Manning quarterback camp last week at Duke. Feel free to intervene at anytime Jay Z, I mean this is why you were brought in.
