It is a wrap for LT, as the Chargers officially released him today.
Probably one year too late, but his nine year stint with the team is over.
I can’t even believe it has been nine years since LT came into the league balling. He was one of the players responsible for the Charger’s rebirth.
If you don’t recall the Chargers were like the Lions until Drew Brees and LT entered the building.
Two questions:
Where will LT end up next?
Honestly don’t know. If he accepts a Jerome Bettis type role on a contender I guess it could work, but he won’t have a lot of suitors.
The other question begs was this a case of the curse of the Electric Glide?
