The Browns, who are in rebuilding mode with Mike Holmgren now taking the reins, may have their eyes on the former Oklahoma QB. Now even though they brought in Jake Delhomme and his bag of interceptions, they can’t be serious about him being their long-term quarterback. Combine that with the fact that they have 10 picks this draft and they just may have the juice to pull off a deal with the Rams.
There is a growing belief that Bradford is a “can’t miss” prospect. Given the Browns most recent first round QB busts (see Tim Couch and Brady Quinn), they may want to think long and hard about whether they want to “mortgage the ranch” for Sam. You never know though, maybe Holmgren really is going to get them on track.
