Do they not adminster pregnancy tests before MMA matches?
That seems like it should be a requirement a couple of days before any female boxing or MMA bout. Common sense tells you that many woman don’t even know they are pregnant in the early stages, so every precaution needs to take place to make sure stuff like this doesn’t happen like this.
Cindy Dandois just dropped out of the mix for a June fight against Gina Carano.
Dandois is three and half months pregnant. Ariel Helwani of Versus has this crazy twist on the story:
Interestingly enough, Dandois’ last fight was on March 19, so if she really is three and a half months pregnant, that means she competed in a fight (which she won, by the way) while she was over two months pregnant.
Dandois beat Jorina Baars on a fight card in Belgium.
There is video of the her fighting below.
Luckily everything is ok with the baby, but it is very scary to think about what could have happened. She is definitely going to pop out a tough kid, we do know that.
