It must be an Atlanta thing.
First Dominique Wilkins and the Harlem Nights Suit maker came to blows over some alleged unpaid debts, now Falcons star Roddy White says a man is holding a couple of his game day jerseys hostage for $10,000 and he is trying to get him arrested.
Here are the details.
Atlanta Falcons Pro Bowl receiver Roddy White says a man he hired to frame football jerseys took the jerseys and won’t give them back.
Channel 2’s Kerry Kavanaugh obtained an application for an arrest warrant filled out by White in Gwinnett County.
White said the men agreed on a price of $400 for each framed jersey, but now the man is asking White for $10,000 and won’t return the jerseys, according to the document.
Kavanaugh visited the home of the man listed in the warrant application but found no one home at the time.
The man called Kavanaugh a few hours later and said that he has performed several odd jobs for White in the past and he is owed the $10,000.
The truth is probably somewhere in the middle. Does anyone use invoices anymore? If you had receipts for the work you are doing, there wouldn’t be so many disagreements.
A judge will decide if the arrest warrant is valid or if the man have valid claims that White owes him money.
