T.O. never was caught driving drunk.
T.O. never punched a NBA Player’s miniature sidekick in the face.
T.O. never had to be held back by Jalen Rose while his goons engaged in a knife fight in a restaurant’s kitchen.
In the eight years T.O. was in San Francisco he had 592 catches, 8572 yards and 81 TDs while not being on probation for any criminal activity.
Braylon should only hope he could be the next T.O. in San Francisco but instead he says this.
“Listen here, that number is temporary,” Edwards said, according to Nate Davis of USA Today. “Seventeen is being used right now, and I’m trying to figure out how that’s going to work for the season. But 81 is temporary, and I’m trying to look for a new number.
“I’m not trying to be known as the next [Terrell Owens] or anything related to him, and maybe not even 17. Maybe a fresh start means a fresh number, so 81 is temporary. And when the time is right, I’ll find the number that I’ll be wearing.”
Ignore all the non criminal bluster about T.O., he is one of the greatest WR in the history of the NFL. If Edwards was known as the next T.O. he would be considered a great WR, not just an average one who had to take short money because no one wanted to deal with his ego and irrational behavior.
