Metta World Peace on Making Up With James Harden: “I Don’t Shake Subs Hands”

Two things should be pointed out.

Metta World Peace was wrong knocking out James Harden.

James Harden is a world class flopper and knew exactly what he was doing when he ran up on Metta.

Suspension is over, punishment has been served. This is the playoffs, so don’t expect in man hugs when Lakers and OKC meet.

Here is what The Peace’s Elbow had to say.

Metta said he has no intention of seeking out James Harden to apologize or even shake his hand. “I don’t shake substitutions’ hands.”

“I don’t want support for what I did,” World Peace said. “I still love my fans, but I don’t want to be supported for (that). Even though he came and ran up behind me and he’s done that before to Tyson Chandler and other players and he flopped even in the series (against Dallas) in the first round, but I don’t want support for that.”

No time to shake hands, if the Lakers have any chance against OKC, their role players including Metta have to come up big and do it consistently.

It will be a daunting task.
