Red Sox Manager Bobby Valentine was riding his bike in New York’s Central park when he decided he wanted to check a text message. He subsequently had to swerve to avoid a couple of tourists and fell into a ditch. His injuries were minor, just mostly scars on his legs and bruising.
“I shouldn’t have been reading a text while I was riding,” Valentine said. “That’s the wrong thing to do. But at least I was wearing my helmet. Hey, if he can play with that, I can certainly manage with this,” he said, showing the bandages on his legs.
Ok. I know its not politically correct to laugh at someone getting hurt, but when I first heard this I was in tears. And like the prophet Katt Williams says it is our duty to get atleast 7 laughs in.
