The Philadelphia Phillies are trying to retool their bats and outfield depth, to go along with strong pitching staff they have.
The Phillies want back in the playoffs, and a quality outfield acquisition or two will do fine.

Crossing Broad via Buster Olney is reporting that the Phillies are fine with Hamilton’s salary demands, and the only thing stopping a deal is the years.

Hamilton reportedly wants seven years, $175 million.
Hamilton is 31 with issues of past drug use and disappearing acts.
