Kevin Love has been battling through injury all season long. Unfortunately for him, things have again gone south on his road to recovery, as the Timberwolves announced on Saturday that Love has again fractured his right hand.
Love missed the first 9 games of this season due to broken third and fourth metacarpals from knuckle push-ups. Per USA Today this time around, it’s Love’s third metacarpal that was broken. No timetable for his return has yet been set.
This is a bad string of events for the Timberwolves who expected to have a big season after the glimmers of promise they displayed last year with Rubio’s breakout year. Now, again the team has been beseiged by injury–Rubio with back pain, Nikola Pekovic with a hip strain and now add Love’s injury. Things are not looking good for the T’wolves.
