Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha has reached a crossroads in his Philadelphia career, and today will determine where it goes from here.
Coming off a poor 2012 season, Asomugha regressed as a player, and it was the epitome of everything that went wrong in Philly this season.
Adam Schefter is reporting that Chip Kelly and the Eagles will meet with Asomugha today and offer a simple ultimatum, restructure your deal or get cut.
When two sides meet this am, Eagles will ask CB Nnamdi Asomugha to restructure contract or they will release him. Asomugha guaranteed $4mil.

Now it’s not all bad for Nnamdi because whether they release him or not, he will get his guaranteed $4 million. If the Eagles keep Asomugha, then he’ll count $15 million against the Eagles cap, and that’s not going to happen.
