Report: Chiefs Want To Trade For Nick Foles

The Eagles have Michael Vick under contract and have signed Dennis Dixon to a two-year deal to help acclimate everyone to Chip Kelly’s spread offense.

The question now is what happens to Nick Foles.  The Eagles have been quiet in regard to Foles future with the team, but according to USA Today, if the Eagles don’t want Foles, the Chiefs do.

Mike Garafolo is reporting that Fole and Andy Reid could be reunited.

The Chiefs and new coach Andy Reid are interested in acquiring Foles if he becomes available, according to a person informed of the team’s thinking. The person, who spoke to USA TODAY Sports on condition of anonymity because the Chiefs haven’t discussed their thoughts publicly, said the team is working on plans to add a quarterback and considers Foles a possibility.

Again no need to rush to judgement, because the report said it was a possibility.  With a somewhat weak class of quarterbacks and the #1 overall pick, the acquisition of Foles would give Reid a quarterback he’s familiar with, while allowing the Chiefs to use that pick on a lineman such as Luke Joeckel of Texas A&M.
