Pundits wondered why the Green Bay Packers would cut and part ways with Charles Woodson so easily. That question may be answered soon.
Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Packers are considering using their franchise tag on wide receiver Greg Jennings.
Interesting to hear the #Packers are still considering franchising Greg Jennings. Thought that ship had sailed. Apparently not.

For weeks we thought the Packers and Greg Jennings were going to part ways. They still might in my opinion. Jennings is 30 years old, injury prone, and franchising him would cost $10 million on the cap.
They also have three younger cheaper receivers on their roster in James Jones, Jordy Nelson, and Randall Cobb, who can put up similar numbers.
