The NFL is attempting to make the Pro Bowl more exciting, so they are coming up with different ways to spice the game up some.
They changed the selection format some, and now teams will be selected with a fantasy style draft. They also changed defensive coverage’s, added a two-minute drill to each quarter, and eliminated the use of kick off returns.
Special teams player are visibly upset, but none more than Bears return man Devin Hester, who just might be the most accomplished return man in NFL history.
Hester was very upset, and told the Chicago Tribune, “they can’t do that.”
“That was one of my goals for this season,” Hester said. “I won’t make the Pro Bowl. They can’t do that.”
“If you are taking the returner out of the Pro Bowl, you’re taking two positions out.” Hester said. “That will suck for me. They are trying to change up the whole game of football and they’re messing with people’s jobs and lives.”
