Either way Alex Rodriguez is going to get paid.
Granted no one wants to lose $34 million (technically $34,240,437 according to Spotrac.com) the fact he still is going to get $61 million has to be somewhat comforting.
He is playing with house money, if he wins his appeal he gets all his money, if his suspension is reduced he gets some of his money back and even if his suspension is upheld he will still get paid starting in 2015.
No harm, no foul in appealing at this point.
