By now we’ve all seen the dumb video LeBron James posted of himself getting a police escort to a Jay Z/Justin Timberlake concert.
Miami Dade County is now investigating why tax dollars were spent making sure LeBron had no problems making the 8 minute drive to Sun Life Stadium.
The Big Lead is now reporting that LeBron somehow got that escort, because the big homie, Jay Z, had no intentions of starting his set until Bron Bron was in the building.
Reps for the Miami Dade Police Department gave this statement on the matter.
“This should not have happened.” The rep says the department is still looking into which officers were involved and will determine what punishment, if any, is appropriate.
If Jay Z says he’s not starting a concert until his little homie shows up, what were the cops to do?
