Mo Williams had some options this off-season when it came to choosing his next landing spot.
Williams is not an elite top 10 point guard, but he is extremely serviceable, versatile, and a deadly shooter when his stroke is on.
Williams examined his options and made a choice, pick the Portland Trail Blazers over several other options. Why Portland you ask?
During his introductory press conference, Williams simply stated that “he wanted to win,” and wasn’t worried about starting.
Mo Williams: "I just want to win. I had opportunities to start (elsewhere)." … "… look at me as a sixth starter."
