The talk of the final two weeks of preseason football centers on whether or not Tim Tebow can make the Patriots roster, and what’s left for his future if he does.
Tebow has no interest talking about that right now, and told ESPN.com that “he’s focused on improving and getting better, not the Patriots cutting him.”
“Just worried about improving every single day and having fun out there at practice,” he said.
The Patriots have to cut their roster from 90 to 75 by Tuesday and then down to 53 on Aug. 31.
They currently have 84 players on the roster. New England has only carried three quarterbacks on its roster one time in the past four seasons.
Tebow was 1-for-7 passing for minus-1 yard in the Patriots last preseason game, and is aware of what’s at stake.
“You definitely want to do better in some areas, and also you have different things happen that you just try to handle the best way you can,” Tebow said.
