I hope Dwight Howard is paying attention.
A few weeks ago we reported that Cleveland Cavaliers power forward Tristan Thompson, was making a historical move by going from a lefty to righty shooter, in an attempt to improve his overall offensive game.
Well, according to a story by Yahoo! Sports via Michael Grange of Sportsnet, early indications are that Thompson’s free-throw shooting percentage has improved significantly, as he competes for Canada in exhibition games and at the FIBA Tournament of the Americas.
Update: Tristan Thompson is now 29/37 (78%) FTs right-handed over nine games. Was 58% career as a lefty.

If Thompson’s shooting percentage continues to improve, you may see all of the NBA’s efficiently-challenged shooters following suit.
