Jerry Jones isn’t going to have people just walking around talking trash about his quarterback.
On the heels of the Cowboys thumping of the St. Louis Rams, Jones made it a point to make it clear that Romo wasn’t called out by Jason Hatcher in a team meeting because Romo consistently audibles out of runs.
“There was absolutely – and I emphasize absolutely – no reference in any way to another player,” Jones said. “It’s absurd to think that a defensive player would be critical of anybody specifically on offense, or an offensive player be critical of anybody on defense. That just doesn’t happen, wouldn’t happen and didn’t happen.”
I don’t know if Tony Romo got called out or not, but what I do know is that the Cowboys and DeMarco Murray ran the ball with emphasis against the Rams.
