Last night Drew Brees entered the game against the Falcons with 49,288 career passing yards, but as NBC Sports reports, Brees was able pass Warren Moon (49,325) by the end of the game to become #5 all time in passing yards.
The top three on the list are Brett Favre, Peyton Manning and Dan Marino. The fourth spot belongs to John Elway (51,475), but Brees is on pace to pass Elway early next season if he continues on his pace. It would take awhile for him to get to Favre, Manning or Marino, but at this point, Brees’ legacy in the NFL is well respected.
