This is not a good look for Brazil, especially since they’re the host country for next year’s FIFA World Cup.
This hideous incident that took place in the Brazilian Championship will do nothing but exacerbate fears soccer fans have about their safety when they make their way to the World Cup in June.
So according to 101 Great Goals, a vitally important game for two teams on opposite sides of the table, got very ugly after fans from relegation bound Atletico-PR attacked the supporters of Vasco. The fact that the game was policed by a private security firm and not actual police didn’t help either.
Fans are seen getting the holy hell beaten out of them and players were on the sidelines crying. The game was called off as things got out of control.
