Seahawks Percy Harvin has been sidelined due to injury for most of the 2013 season. According to NBC Sports, Harvin is unlikely to play before the playoffs. Seahawks coach Pete Carroll plan to give an update on Harvin’s status on Wednesday according to reports, but Harvin has only played in one regular season game thus far, only to be sidelined again due to an ongoing hip problem.
Despite signing Harvin with the expectation that he would add something more dynamic to their offense and special teams, the Seahawks have done very well without him. The expectation is that Harvin can come back and give the Seahawks the dynamics they hoped for in Super Bowl XLVIII, as long as they can win out in the postseason with home field advantage.
