The Vanderbilt Commodores seem prepared to rebound very nicely to James Franklin bolting for Penn State.
Saturday’s Down South is reporting that Stanford assistant coach Derek Mason is set to be named the new head coach at Vanderbilt. Mason is the current associate head coach and defensive coordinator of the Cardinal.
Last season, his team held opponents to just 19 points per game, and Mason has turned Stanford’s defense into one of the nations best.
