Georgia Bulldogs CB Shaq Wiggins was arrested after being pulled over for speeding. When the officer pulled him over, he ran his info and realized he was on a suspended license for failing to appear in court. From the Athens-Clarke County police:
Wiggins was pulled over Sunday night for speeding after he was clocked driving 52 miles per hour in a 35 mph zone. The arresting officer’s routine check on Wiggins’ license found that he had failed to appear in court on an earlier charge, resulting in the license being suspended.
Wiggins was released from the Athens-Clarke County Jail on $2,000 bond. There was no available information on the earlier charge.
