Listen up, if you ever happen to be on Jeopardy! and an NHL question comes up, just go with Wayne Gretzky as your answer even if you have no clue, because 9 times out of 10 you’ll be dead on the money. This especially holds true when said question is under the $400, and therefore easiest, clue in the Double Jeopardy round. Also remember to listen to host Alex Trbek’s reading of the question very carefully, or else you’ll end up coming off as totally clueless, just like this guy, who bombed quite possibly the easiest NHL question ever.
NHL dude, it’s right there in the question. Not NBA, and definitely not Magic Johnson. Even Amy Farrah Fowler knew the answer was The Great One, and I’d be willing to bet she’s never watched a hockey game in her life. Let’s hope for Joe’s sake he sat the rest of that category out.
One final thing, how great was Trebek’s “oh no” response? Not only did you fail miserably, you have to be publicly shamed by Alex Trbek in the most subtly non subtle way possible.
