There has been much speculation about where last night’s gut wrenching loss to Portland would be Kevin McHale’s last game coaching the Houston Rockets. Well, according to David Aldridge he will return next year:
Brutal last-second loss to Portland will not cost Kevin McHale his job, per source. Rockets will bring McHale back for 2014-15.

I don’t know if firing McHale is the solution personally, but they do need to change the roster up a bit and move Asik and Lin. After doing that they can make their Carmelo push but that still won’t help them on defense where they should focus the entire offseason.
