The University of Connecticut is working hard to sign Kevin Ollie to a long-term deal before the Lakers or some other NBA team swoops in to steal him.
Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that Ollie and Huskies have started the groundwork on a new contract, despite not ruling out the NBA.

Ollie is on the Lakers short list of candidates and Wojnarowski is reporting that Ollie is likely to be courted by other NBA teams as well.
