Tom Brady and Darrelle Revis may be teammates now, but things are still the same when it comes to visiting “Revis Island.” According to the Boston Globe, Tom Brady and Ryan Mallett avoided throwing a single pass Revis’ way during 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 drills.
here’s one observation from yesterday’s workout at Gillette Stadium: Every time cornerback Darrelle Revis was on the field for 11-on-11 situations, or 7-on-7 drills, Tom Brady didn’t throw a single pass toward the person Revis was covering.
Not one.
For the record, neither did backup quarterback Ryan Mallett.
The Revis effect is real.
The Globe is reporting that the minute Revis would sub out, Brady and Mallett would go right at his replacement. It seems like Revis is still in Brady’s head, regardless of them being teammates or not.
