Tracy McGrady will get his baseball career started tonight, as the former NBA All-Star has been named the starting pitcher for the Sugar Land Skeeters as they take on the Somerset Patriots at Constellation Field. The 34-year-old McGrady, who made the team coming out of spring training, will be on a limited pitch count in his regular season pitching debut (T-Mac pitched an inning for the Skeeters in an exhibition game last month). Whether McGrady and his 91 mph fastball can tear up the Atlantic League like he tore up the NBA for 16 seasons remains to be seen, but, at the very least, he will have gotten the chance to live out his baseball dream.
