New Mexico State center Sim Bhullar has a chance to make history by becoming the first player ever of Indian descent to be in the NBA. Bhullar also could become one of the biggest draft picks ever, too.
At 7-foot-5 and 360 pounds, the Canadian-born Bhullar is a giant of a human being. His size definitely helps and is ever-growing fame continues after coming off two straight appearances in the NCAA Tournament.
Bhullar chances of being drafted are iffy, but his size, potential and marketability factor makes it possible that he could go late in the second round. Experts are saying he could have a Yao Ming-like impact for NBA’s global reach, where Bhullar can make basketball more popular in the country of India.
Bleacher Report did a nice feature on Bhullar, which you can watch below:
Best of luck to Bhullar on Thursday night.
