Donald Sterling reportedly will take his money and fade into the sunset. Ramona Shelburne is reporting that Sterling has agreed to drop his lawsuit against the NBA, and will also sign off on selling the Clippers to Steve Ballmer.

Blecher tells ESPN that Donald Sterling "agrees to sell and to drop lawsuit. NBA agrees to drop charges and to not sue him for anything."

Sterling has been banned for life and fined $2.5 million by the NBA for racist remarks he made in a taped recording. His wife, Shelly Sterling, last week agreed to sell the franchise to former Microsoft Corp chief executive Steve Ballmer for $2 billion.
