The 50th anniversary of the Super Bowl is less than two years away, and the NFL looks like it will be going all out to commemorate the event.
We get our first sign of this today, as the NFL unveiled their logo for Super Bowl 50 and for the first time will not be using roman numerals to identify the big game. According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, this is a one time only thing for the league.

This is a good move by the NFL. While the roman numerals have a classic feel to them, reaching the 50th Super Bowl is a special milestone that needs to be recognized.
