Broncos star outside linebacker Von Miller is impressed by the highly competitive football he sees being played by his brethren in the NFC West.
Miller and the Broncos will play four ballgames this season against the NFC West quartet of the 49ers, Seahawks, Rams and Cardinals. The pass rushing specialist told the 49ers official website that he has all four of those ballgames circled on his calendar, and that the division is the toughest in football.
“It’s definitely the toughest division in the NFL,” the 25-year old linebacker said. “I’m looking forward to playing all those guys. I’m looking forward to playing the whole NFC West with Seattle, the Rams and the Cardinals and just going out and competing with those guys.”
It’s hard to argue against Miller. In a perfect world, the NFC West would have had three teams in the playoffs last season. The Rams are an up and coming fourth.
