Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that after his late Thursday night meeting with the New York Knicks, Carmelo Anthony is on board with the teams vision for shaping a championship roster.
According to the report, Anthony had some serious questions for Jackson and Derek Fisher during their Thursday meeting in Los Angeles. Those with knowledge of the situation believe that Anthony’s increased confidence with the Knicks’ direction and maximum contract offer is likely to keep Anthony in Manhattan.
The five-year, $129 million probably sealed the deal.
