Ronda Rousey destroyed Alexis Davis at UFC 175 on Saturday night in a fight that was short enough to put into a Vine which you can scroll down to see.
Then she was put on the spot by Joe Rogan, or the producers who fed him the question if you believe his version about saving the now canceled UFC 176. Well in addition to the knee surgery she says that she needs and the busted cyst on her hand that requires stitches, she has a broken hand from the fight according to UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta:
Another piece of news came out of the postponement. Fertitta said UFC officials had talked amongst each other about potentially putting Ronda Rousey in a title fight in place of Aldo-Mendes, though he said it never progressed as far as talking to Rousey or her team about it. Fertitta revealed that Rousey also broke her right hand in her successful title defense Saturday at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas against Alexis Davis.
It was always a bad a idea for them to throw Rousey into the mix for UFC 176 even if she was completely healthy which is why Dana White gave Joe Rogan that death glare after he asked the question. My guess is that we actually wont see Rowdy Ronda Rousey until 2015.
