Michael Irvin’s days as an NFL analyst may soon be coming to an end. According to the TMZ, the Hall of Fame wide receiver is conflicted about missing his church services to do his job on NFL Network covering all of Sunday’s game.
Irvin is usually on the Network from early Sunday morning until the late games are finished.
“I texted my bishop T.D. Jakes the other day … I said, ‘Man, it’s getting to the point where I’m missing church more than I’m looking forward to games on Sunday.”
Irvin added, “That’s been hard for me to go to work … I miss that man.”
Irvin has a checkered past centered around substance abuse issues, that same church he misses saved his life, so he may have a decision to make.
